Flask service stopped but NOT deleted (rollback:\n`sudo systemctl start screener` + point nginx back to 5303).\nFiles: /home/ubuntu/rust-screener/src/main.rs (single binary, ~1600 lines),\nstate/<sid>.json, nginx/rust-screener.service. Frontend = server-rendered\nHTML strings in main.rs (zero JS, same act= contract as Flask).\nThe Flask version lives at /home/ubuntu/bots/screener/ (historical reference —\nthe Rust port's logic mirrors it 1:1).\n\n## Non-negotiable design rules\n\n1. **100% server-side rendering.** The user explicitly rejected browser-side\n computation. EVERYTHING happens in Python: rule evaluation, tab\n add/remove/move (server round-trips via `act=`), per-tab font (`act=font&id=<tab>`),\n auto-refresh. NO JavaScript logic — even \"+ Add condition\" is a form submit\n with `name=\"act\" value=\"add_cond\"`.\n\n2. **Session state** = per-session JSON in state/<sid>.json, keyed by opaque\n cookie `screener_sid` (set via Set-Cookie, httponly). Tabs: `rules`,\n `scope`, plus one `scan_<n>` results tab per scan run. `order` list = tab\n bar order; results tabs insert right after scope. State is saved on every\n action; only last 15 scans kept.\n\n3. **Single source of truth = values DB** for indicators/daily/xover +\n **chart API (127.0.0.1:5050) for OHLC candles** (open/high/low/close/volume,\n intervals 5m/15m/30m/1h/2h/D). Never recompute indicators.\n\n4. **Universe = equity only** (exchange in NSE/NSE_INDEX) — CRUDEOILM (MCX)\n excluded. 13 symbols: SBIN, INDIGO, HAL, TCS, ULTRACEMCO, LT, DLF, INFY,\n INDUSINDBK, ASHOKLEY, BIOCON, BANKNIFTY, CUPID.\n\n5. **Flat table columns only** in results; passes sorted first (server-side\n sort in decorate_units? No — results render in symbol order; pass/fail\n shown as green/red badges + row tint).\n\n## Rule builder (v3 — variable + connector model)\n\nRules are built as **[Var1] [Connector] [Var2/Value]** — three linked\ndropdowns, NOT a fixed condition list:\n\n- VARS (dropdown 1 & 3): price, open, high, low, prev_close, vidya, sma20,\n sma50, rsi, atr, atr_pct, macd, macd_signal, macd_hist, stoch_k, stoch_d,\n volume, avg_volume, change_pct, range_pct, n_high, n_low, high_dist_pct,\n low_dist_pct, lipi, lipi_settled, three_candle, bias (text), x3 (text),\n xa (text). Let me analyze the format string braces/quotes programmatically.
The braces are balanced. The `expected ','` at the end of the format string means the string terminated early — likely an unescaped `"` somewhere in the CSS. Let me find it.
The `class="wrap"` quotes got inserted unescaped. Let me fix line 1250 to escape them.

The structure renders correctly, but "Active scan" requires a scan result. Let me run a test scan (in a temp session) and verify the active panel + premium cards render with data.
The auto-refresh works, but it only reloads the page — it doesn't re-evaluate the scan. The user specifically wants the **active scan details to refresh every 5 min (or set interval)**. Build clean. Now redeploy and test the full live-refresh flow.

The auto-refresh flow works perfectly: the active scan re-runs in place (scan_1 → scan_2, no stacking). Let me clean up test sessions and do a final full-page verification.
The user's real session is intact (3 presets, rules preserved). Let me update the skill with the new premium GUI knowledge and mark todos complete.

Done. The screener GUI at https://screener.openalgo.theworkpc.com/ is rebuilt with a premium, actionable look and a live Active-scan panel. Backed-up original at `src/main.rs.bak.20260822_223435_premium_gui`.
What changed:
1. Premium feel
- Full dark theme with a blue→violet gradient, radial-glow backdrop, rounded cards (18px), soft shadows, gradient buttons, and uppercase micro-labels — a deliberate step up from the flat grey boxes.
- Branded header with a gradient "S" logo tile + an animated "Live values" pulse chip.
2. Cards, max 3 per uniform row
- Saved Bots are now a 3-column card grid (3 → 2 → 1 responsive). Each card: name, meta chips (cond count · timeframe · Renko/Candles), a plain-language description of the rule, and Edit / Run / Track / Delete actions.
- The tracked bot is highlighted with a green ring + top bar and its Track button flips to "⏸ Stop".
3. Active-scan details with user-set refresh
- A green-accented "Active scan" panel sits above the fold with the passing count, an Auto-refresh selector (Off / 5 / 10 / 15 / 30 min), and a rationale line that tells you the rule in words.
- Passing symbols are listed actionably: SYMBOL | change% | 🔥streak | 📊 Chart | ▶ Studio | ▶ Run bot.
- Auto-refresh genuinely re-runs the scan every interval — a new `run_live` action re-evaluates the persisted rule against current values and swaps the card in place (no duplicate stacking). Verified: run_live turns scan_1 into scan_2 with still just one card.
- Full per-symbol detail tables remain below under "Scan Results · newest first".
Your real session (3 saved bots, current rule, scope) was left untouched. Backend rebuilt and restarted; all 18 structural checks pass against the live HTTPS site.
Want me to adjust the theme (e.g. a lighter accent, or a specific brand color) or tweak what each card shows?
