Both functions aggregate daily OHLC **from the 5-min candles**, then:
- LIPI = builds renko bricks off those 5-min-derived daily closes, then VIDYA on the bricks
- 3-candle = 0.20·typ(D-2) + 0.40·typ(D-1) + 0.40·typ(D), typ = (O+H+L+C)/4 of the 5-min-aggregated daily bars
So the source of truth is the `<leg>_5min.db` raw candles — the same single 5-min database the whole system reads. No daily candle fetch anywhere. That's exactly the unified single-database principle in the skill.
So my read stands, just with the source made precise: both lines you're comparing against today are 5-min-derived daily aggregates, not broker daily candles. The renko trend, LIPI, and 3-candle all come from the same 5-min data stream.
