Fixed and confirmed — no more two values:
1. ROOT CAUSE — two stacked bugs: (a) the EOD trigger has a 30s throttle that can swallow it when Tier 1 fires moments earlier, and (b) the service was running code from Aug 11 — the Aug 16 edit that added the post-EOD recompute trigger was never loaded (file changed, no restart). So the 15:55 candle replacement ran, but the values DB was never recomputed from it. Your 1061.9 (live recompute incl. the auction candle) and 1062.65 (15:30:27 snapshot) were two snapshots of the same LIPI.
2. FIX — `run_values_filler(force=True)` in both EOD branches (bypasses the throttle), comment documenting why; service restarted with the new code. Tomorrow 15:55: candles replaced → filler recomputes → daily_values settled from official candles automatically.
3. VERIFIED — ONE VALUE now, three surfaces, to the decimal:
- SBIN: values DB 1061.96 = /api/daily-vidya 1061.96 = /api/daily-values today 1061.96
- INDIGO: 5218.07 = 5218.07 | HAL: 5100.92 = 5100.92
- Today's stale Aug 18 row was repaired with one manual filler run (2 min). The chart's pinned line still shows 1063.43 (Aug 17) until tomorrow — that's correct line-in-stone behavior; tomorrow it pins to 1061.96 everywhere.
4. One separate pre-existing thing I noticed but didn't touch: `compute_developing_daily` fails for every symbol with a KeyError on 'open' (WARNING lines in the filler log all day) — that's why the chart's "developing LIPI" line is empty. Different surface from this fix; say the word if you want it in the checklist.
