Yes — during market hours both charts show the same data, with one small caveat on timing: 1. Same source — both read the identical raw 5-min candle DBs, updated by live-quote-filler (30s for bot symbols, per 5-min boundary for the rest). No separate feeds, no broker fetch in the normal path. 2. Same numbers — verified live earlier: SBIN 5m snapshot was byte-identical in both systems (price 1068.0, vidya 1071.748, rsi 28.5714). Formulas are 1:1 ports. 3. Timing skew of up to ~1 min — the refresh paths differ: - chart.openalgo reads the DB when your browser asks, and (worth noting) builds its renko + VIDYA in the browser from the candles it loads - tcharts precomputes server-side on a 60s watcher cycle, then the frontend appends every 60s So at any given moment one may be a cycle ahead of the other, but they always converge to the same values. 4. Where they can genuinely differ: after 15:31 the Python side stops updating until next run, while tcharts recomputes the EOD-corrected data at 15:55 — so tcharts shows the broker-corrected close same-day, chart.openalgo catches up later. And non-bot symbols get directional candles (open=prev close) rather than full intrabucket OHLC — but that's identical for both charts since both read the same DB. So: same data, same indicators, same prices — at most a refresh-cycle apart.
