Pulling more references — the skill's detail file, any md docs in the charting project, and where "tcharts" appears in docs.

Found the two tcharts md docs in the skill. Reading them plus the server log to understand the current state.

One quick empirical check — is HTTP actually dead during compute cycles, and how is the watcher structured in main.rs?

Gathered everything. Here's the full picture before we discuss. During those ~52s windows the tokio runtime is blocked and EVERY HTTP request hangs -> nginx 30s read timeout -> 502. I caught it mid-compute (8s timeout), then it responded in 1ms. So the site is dead ~45% of the time. - Also it recomputes EVERYTHING every 60s regardless of whether a new candle arrived — 5.5h CPU in 1.5 days, and BANKNIFTY alone is now 279K bricks per pass. So: tcharts = fully working compute engine + good frontend, crippled by a blocking-watcher defect (needs spawn_blocking / tokio::task / actual "only recompute when new candles" check). What do you want to discuss — fixing the watcher, merging tcharts into chart.openalgo, or something else?

Crosshair on the tcharts canvas — let me read the current frontend structure first.

Chart geometry fully mapped. Now implementing the crosshair: an overlay canvas over the price chart + vertical sync lines on RSI/MACD panels + floating OHLC/indicator box + axis price/time labels.

PIL is blocked — I'll debug in-browser instead with pixel analysis and an error trap:

Found it — `chartLayout` doesn't include `barTimes`, so `L.barTimes[idx]` is undefined and the snap() call throws, killing the box before it draws. One-line fix:

No error, and a filled block now appears at cols 950–1150 / rows 225–275 — that's the floating box. Full visual re-verify:

Crosshair fully working — lines, axis labels, floating OHLC box with indicator values. Quick check that the RSI/MACD sync lines render too, plus final syntax check:

My coordinate guess was off (wrong W). Cleaner test — diff the RSI panel pixels with mouse on vs off the chart:

Sync line confirmed (383 px in exactly 2 columns — one vertical dashed line). All verified. Updating the reference doc with the new feature + the pitfall I hit:

Done. Crosshair is live on https://tcharts.openalgo.theworkpc.com/ (static file, just hard-refresh / Ctrl+F5). What you get when hovering the price chart: 1. Dashed crosshair — vertical line snaps to the bar under your cursor, horizontal follows the mouse 2. Price label on the left axis (boxed, at cursor level) 3. Time label on the bottom axis (boxed, at the hovered bar) 4. Hovered bar gets a highlight outline 5. Floating box near the cursor: timestamp + O/H/L/C (green/red by direction) + VIDYA/SMA20/SMA50 values at that exact bar (only the ones you have checked) 6. The vertical line syncs down to the RSI and MACD sub-panels 7. Everything clears when the mouse leaves the chart Implementation: transparent overlay canvas on top of the main chart (no full redraw per mousemove — fast even at 5000 bars), geometry captured once per draw. Works in both Renko and Candles mode, all intervals. Verified headless: no JS errors, box + lines render, edge-flip works, sync line confirmed pixel-exact on the RSI panel, overlay fully clears on leave. Caught and fixed one bug during testing (missing barTimes in the layout object silently killed the floating box) — documented in the skill ref. One thing we noticed along the way, still open from before: the Rust server blocks HTTP for ~50s out of every ~110s while the watcher recomputes all 13 symbols, so the page randomly 502s. Crosshair works fine, but you'll feel that lag. Want to tackle the blocking-watcher fix next, or keep discussing the chart features?

Their standard UI pattern (A−/A+ font control). I'll add a font-size control that scales all canvas fonts (axis labels, right-edge legends, floating box) plus the HTML info panel/xover table. First, mapping every font declaration:

The A+/A− buttons have no id attributes — my test selector was wrong. Adding ids:

All state checks pass (130% → 13px label / 18.2px value, localStorage persisted, crosshair still clean). Visual confirm on the 130% screenshot:

Confirmed at 130% — legends and axis labels clearly larger and readable. Updating the reference doc, then done:

Font control is live — hard refresh and you'll see a new **Font** group in the header: **A− [%] A+** 1. **A+ / A−** steps the scale by 10% (range 70%–160%), with the current % shown between the buttons 2. Scales **everything on the chart canvas**: right-edge legend labels (VIDYA/SMA20/SMA50/LIPI/3-Candle values), left price axis, bottom time axis, RSI/MACD labels, chart title, xover arrows 3. Also scales the HTML areas: info panel boxes, crossover table, chart section labels 4. The crosshair floating box + axis boxes grow proportionally too 5. Persists in localStorage — your chosen size survives reloads (per your usual A−/A+ per-page pattern) Verified: 3× A+ → 130% (legend labels ~13-14px, info values 18.2px), 3× A− → back to 100%, reload restores stored value, no JS errors, crosshair still renders cleanly at 130%. Two chart features done now (crosshair + font scale). Still on the table from before: the Rust server blocking HTTP ~50s every cycle. Want that fixed next, or anything else on the chart?

Adding all indicator values to the crosshair box — full set at the hovered bar (VIDYA/SMA20/SMA50/RSI/Stoch/MACD+Signal+Hist/ATR + daily LIPI/3-Candle), color-coded by legend color. First, the layout needs the daily maps:

Zero ink — the crosshair didn't draw on that run. Debugging interactively:

`window.crosshair`/`window.chartLayout` were false negatives — top-level `let` vars aren't on `window`, and the 33K ink pixels prove the crosshair drew fine (mid-chart hover). Checking the actual screenshot:

All six lines render correctly — timestamp, color-coded OHLC, V/S20/S50, RSI/K/D, MACD/Sig/Hist, ATR/LIPI/3C, all matching the stored data (the 0.0 RSI/K/D values are genuine warmup values at that July bar). Updating the reference doc:

Done. The crosshair box now shows every indicator value at the hovered bar — hard refresh and hover anywhere on the chart: 1. Line 1 — timestamp 2. Line 2 — O / H / L / C (green/red by bar direction) 3. Line 3 — V / S20 / S50 (VIDYA/SMA20/SMA50 in their legend colors) 4. Line 4 — RSI / K / D (stochastic) 5. Line 5 — MACD / Sig / Hist 6. Line 6 — ATR / LIPI / 3C (daily values for the hovered day) Each value is drawn in its chart legend color so you can match them at a glance. Values come from the same stored snapshots the chart draws (single source of truth — no client-side math). Early warmup bars may show RSI/Stoch at 0.0 — that's the genuine stored value, same as the chart line. Works in both Renko and Candles mode, scales with the A+/A− control, box flips side/above as you near the edges. Verified live: box renders all six lines with correct values, no JS errors, syntax clean. Chart now has: crosshair + full indicator readout + font scaling. Still pending whenever you want it: the Rust watcher blocking HTTP for ~50s every cycle.

Removing crossover events entirely from the frontend — it's the heaviest payload (1,400–2,600 events per symbol). Mapping all references first:

Page is clean — no table, no markers, all sections intact, crosshair box still full. Updating the skill doc:

Done. Crossover events are completely gone from the tcharts frontend — hard refresh: 1. **Removed the fetch** — `/api/xover-events` (the heaviest payload: 1,400–2,600 event rows per symbol) is no longer requested. Page now loads only bricks, snapshots, and daily-values 2. **Removed the Xover Markers checkbox + markers** — no more green/red ▲▼ on the chart 3. **Removed the Crossover Events table** — section, styles, and rendering code all deleted 4. **Info panel trimmed to 10 boxes** — Signal and SMA2 boxes gone (Price/VIDYA/SMA20/SMA50/LIPI/3-Candle/RSI/MACD/Stoch K/ATR remain) 5. **Status line** no longer shows the "Xover: N" counter Verified live: zero xover references left in the page, network trace shows no xover request, chart/crosshair/RSI/MACD all still work, no JS errors. The Rust server still computes and stores xover events — this only removed them from the display, so bots and anything else reading that data are untouched. Note: the remaining load time is the bricks+snapshots payload and the Rust server's blocking windows (that ~50s hang every cycle). If you want faster loads, that watcher fix is the real lever — say the word.
