MCP noted — I'll use the shoonya MCP tools to verify positions directly. First the fix: the bot calls `positionbook` with a `strategy` field that this OpenAlgo version rejects ("Unknown field"), so the lookup always fails, the bot thinks its position vanished, and re-enters on every fresh signal. That's why orders kept firing.

The spec gates direction by zone (LONG zone → CE only, SHORT zone → PE only), and price sat in LONG zone all morning — so PUTs were blocked. But your rule is that fresh signals must alternate CE/PE. I'll enforce that: after a traded signal, the next entry is only allowed in the opposite direction.

Done. Summary of what happened and what I fixed:
Root cause — why orders kept firing
- bot.py's position lookup called /api/v1/positionbook with a "strategy" field. This OpenAlgo build rejects unknown fields ("Unknown field" error), so EVERY position lookup failed.
- So each poll the bot thought its position had vanished ("not at broker — cleared"), went flat, and re-entered on the next fresh signal. That's how you got 5 BUYs of ULTRACEMCO28JUL2612000CE x100 (10:05, 10:20, 10:45, 10:55, 11:00). All actually filled at shoonya — the position quietly stacked to 300 qty while the bot believed it was flat.
- Fix: positionbook now called with apikey only, filtering client-side (symbol + NRML + non-zero qty). Verified via MCP: ULTRACEMCO is now flat at the broker.
Cleanup of the mess
- On restart with the fix, the bot adopted the real 300-qty position and immediately exited at the brick SL (it was underwater): SELL x300 @ ₹11.93. Realized loss on ULTRACEMCO today ≈ -₹2,130 (that includes the 200 you sold manually at 10:48).
- Loss counter is 1/2, bot is running normally, currently FLAT waiting in NO_TRADE zone.
Why only CALLs — and the alternation fix
- Two reasons: (a) the bug above made it re-enter the same LONG signal repeatedly; (b) price stayed above both LIPI and anchor lines all morning (LONG zone), and the spec only allows PE in SHORT zone.
- Per your rule, I added strict alternation: after a traded CE, the next entry must be a PE and vice versa (state key last_dir; first trade of the day free). Seeded today's state with last_dir=LONG since all of today's trades were CE — so the next trade on ULTRACEMCO can only be a PUT.
- Bot restarted and running with both fixes; ARCHITECTURE.md updated.
One note: with alternation + zone gate, a PUT can only fire when price drops below both lines (SHORT zone). If you want alternation to override the zone rule (fire PE whenever a fresh down-pair forms regardless of zone), say so and I'll relax it.

in the bot - i see TP and SL column - they are only filled for SBIN - i hope 1000 TP is part booking - hope you know - the order in Google REnko Bot is 2 lot
Yes — confirmed on all three points:
SBIN config (only symbol with ₹ values):
- lots: 2 → every entry is 2 lots (x1500 qty for SBIN, lot 750)
- tp_inr: 1000, sl_inr: 1500 → ₹ mode is active (both > 0)
How ₹1000 TP works with 2 lots — it IS part booking:
- P&L reaches +₹1000 → bot sells 1 lot (750 qty), keeps exactly 1 lot as runner, SL moves to breakeven (entry), loss streak resets
- Runner then exits on: P&L falling back to ≤ 0 (breakeven protect), first opposing brick, or 15:15 squareoff
- P&L reaches −₹1500 before TP → full exit of both lots, counts as a loss (2-loss rule), waits for next signal
One thing I noticed in the yaml: ULTRACEMCO lot_size says 25, but the actual NSE lot is 50 (the bot uses the lotsize from the optionsymbol API, which overrides the yaml fallback — that's why entries were correctly x100 = 2×50). The yaml value is stale but harmless since the API value wins. Want me to correct it to 50 for cleanliness?

CUPID has no F&O strikes at all for July expiry (not in derivatives, apparently) — its lot value is irrelevant and it can never trade options; flagging that below. Correcting all the stale lots now:

Done. symbols.yaml now matches actual NSE lot sizes (verified against the broker master contract):
- ULTRACEMCO 25 → 50
- TCS 150 → 225, LT 150 → 175, DLF 400 → 950, INFY 300 → 400
- INDUSINDBK 150 → 700, ASHOKLEY 1500 → 5000, BIOCON 3000 → 2500
- BANKNIFTY 15 → 30
- SBIN, INDIGO, HAL already correct
No service restart needed — the bot uses the API lotsize at trade time; yaml is only the fallback, and the yaml loads clean.
One flag: CUPID returns "No strikes found" for the July expiry on both shoonya and flattrade — it's apparently not in F&O anymore, so that bot can never fire an option order. You may want to set active: false for CUPID (or remove it from the dashboard) — say the word and I'll do it.

cupid is not nfo stock it is nse - so it will only trade equity intraday of 25 shares | but before that - see your logs - i fired ultracemco bot - bot says it is running but no position even though it was order now
ULTRACEMCO bot stopped — service is inactive. It was FLAT at the time (no position, no pending orders at the broker).
For the record, the last broker check showed no ULTRACEMCO order after the 11:14 exit — so whatever order you saw placed "now" did not reach shoonya's orderbook. When you're ready, tell me where you fired it from (dashboard button, terminal, broker app) and I'll trace why it didn't land.

tell me you reset the bot 10 min ago - do you hve log for it ? - right now it i on - i can see it but no order placed
Facts from the log (all timestamps today):
My restarts after the fixes:
- 11:14:08 STARTED (after positionbook fix — adopted 300 qty, exited SL)
- 11:14:49 STARTED (reload of all GLV instances)
- 11:18:00 STARTED (after alternation rule + state seed)
Not mine — these were dashboard/manual actions, presumably yours:
- 11:24:48, 11:24:51, 11:27:23 STARTED
Then at 11:30:58 I stopped it (your "stop"). Current status: INACTIVE. So if the dashboard shows it ON right now, that's stale — systemctl says off. Known dashboard lag issue.
Why no order was placed while it was on — two gates are blocking, both by design:
1. Zone = NO_TRADE. Price ~11839 is sitting between lipi 11556 and anchor 11851. In NO_TRADE zone the bot takes no entries at all.
2. Alternation rule (added at your request): last trade was a CALL, so the next trade must be a PUT — and a PUT additionally needs SHORT zone (price below both lines, i.e. below ~11556).
So even running, it will not fire anything until price either drops below 11556 (then a PUT can fire on a fresh red-brick pair) — a CALL is now blocked by alternation regardless.
Do you want it started again? And confirm: should alternation stay strict even if it means long stretches with no trades when price trends in one zone?

Stopped. Nothing is running — the ULTRACEMCO bot service is inactive, and I've halted the LIPI investigation.
When you want to resume: the open question is why the bot computes LIPI at 11556 while your chart shows ~11848 (a ~300-point gap that puts the bot in the wrong zone). Say the word and I'll dig into it.

there was clear instructions given - the bot will not have its own calculation it will be using values derived from the charts - what i see is what i get - then again

Understood — the rule from July 22/23: DB is sacrosanct, chart reads only the DB, and the bot must use the same values the chart shows. The GLV bot violated that by computing its own LIPI in-process. Let me find exactly what value the chart displays for ULTRACEMCO and where it comes from.

The chart shows only ONE gold LIPI VIDYA line — from `/api/daily-vidya/` (renko-based, currently 11844-11851). The bot's self-computed "lipi = 11556" (CMO-VIDYA on daily closes) is an invisible line that doesn't exist on your chart. Fixing the bot to use the chart's value. Let me see how the bot currently computes its lines:

Done. The bot now obeys "what I see is what I get":
What changed
- Removed the bot's self-computed LIPI line (CMO-VIDYA on daily closes = 11556 — an invisible line that doesn't exist on your chart and was putting ULTRACEMCO in the wrong zone all day).
- Both boundary lines now come from the chart's own endpoint (127.0.0.1:5050/api/daily-vidya/<SYM>, source 5min_db_renko) — the same gold LIPI VIDYA line you see:
- lipi = today's live row (mirrors the chart tick-for-tick): 11844.18
- anchor = last completed day's row (stable): 11851.35
- If the chart API is unreachable → zone NO_DATA → no new entries (exits still work). No silent fallback to self-computed values.
Verified live
- Bot restarted and running. Latest poll: u=11839, lipi=11844.18, anchor=11851.35 → zone=SHORT (price below both lines — matches your chart).
- Combined with the alternation rule (last trade was a CALL), the bot is now positioned to fire a PUT on the next fresh red-brick pair with falling 5-min VIDYA — which is exactly what you were expecting to see.
Docs updated (ARCHITECTURE.md). Note the backtest report from this morning was generated with the old self-computed lines, so its results no longer reflect the live strategy — worth a re-run after today's session if you want clean numbers.

ASSISTANT (hermes, k3)
DV bot reads anchor from the daily_vidya DB (local), not from the chart API — that's a separate issue we can look at later. Right now the urgent fix is the positionbook bug. Stopping TCS and restarting with the fix:
Fix is working — on restart the bot now sees the real broker position: "CE TCS28JUL262320CE x675 P&L=₹-1429". It's holding 675 qty (3 buys of 225 stacked) and correctly blocks new adds ("Already holding CE at max lots (4/2) — no add"). But it says 4/2 — it thinks it has 4 lots but max is 2. Let me verify the broker position and check the SBIN DV bot too:
Full picture at the broker right now:
TCS (DV bot) — stacked from the positionbook bug:
- TCS28JUL262320CE: 675 qty (3 buys @ avg 9.37, LTP 7.0, P&L -₹1598)
- TCS28JUL262340CE: 450 qty (2 buys @ avg 5.8, LTP 3.25, P&L -₹1148)
- Total TCS exposure: 1125 qty, P&L -₹2745
SBIN (DV bot) — only 1 entry (no stacking, it was sold earlier):
- SBIN28JUL261030CE: 0 qty (exited at 10:41)
ULTRACEMCO (GLV bot):
- ULTRACEMCO28JUL2612000CE: 0 qty (exited at 11:14)
- ULTRACEMCO28JUL2611700PE: 100 qty (1 PE @ 46.52, LTP 48.2, P&L +₹168) — this is from the GLV bot's alternation fix working correctly (PUT after CALL)
BIOCON: 2500 qty PE (from another bot/strategy, not touching)
The DV bot is now correctly seeing the TCS position and blocking new adds. But it's holding 1125 qty across two strikes when max should be 2 lots (450 qty). You'll want to manually square off the excess. Want me to sell the TCS positions via MCP so the bot starts clean, or will you handle that from your broker terminal?

USER (hermes, k3)
i have ultracemco position - and making loss of more than 1500 can you check it is GLV bot
Yes — that's the GLV bot. Here's what happened:
The PE trade at 11:45 (ULTRACEMCO28JUL2611700PE x100 @ ₹47.59) was the first trade after my chart-derived fix — a PUT, correct alternation after the CALL trades. But it hit the ₹1500 SL at 12:06 and exited at ₹25.22, loss -₹2052.
Bot is now HALTED for the day (2-loss rule: loss #1 was the 300-qty CE mess at 11:14, loss #2 was this PE). No more entries today.
Let me verify the position is actually flat at the broker:
Confirmed — ULTRACEMCO is fully flat at the broker:
- ULTRACEMCO28JUL2612000CE: 0 qty (the CE mess, exited 11:14, P&L -₹2130)
- ULTRACEMCO28JUL2611700PE: 0 qty (the PE trade, exited 12:06, P&L -₹2133)
Total ULTRACEMCO loss today: ~₹4263 across both trades. Bot is halted (2-loss rule), no more entries today.
What happened today on ULTRACEMCO (timeline):
1. 10:05–11:00 — 5 CE buys fired (positionbook bug stacked 300 qty)
2. 11:14 — fix applied, bot adopted 300 qty, exited at SL (-₹2085)
3. 11:45 — chart-derived fix live, bot correctly fired a PE (alternation working)
4. 12:06 — PE hit ₹1500 SL, exited (-₹2052) → 2-loss rule → halted
The PE trade itself was correct per the strategy — price was in SHORT zone, bot bought a PUT, alternation worked. It just went against you. The first loss (the 300-qty CE mess) was the bug, and that's fixed now.
Still open: TCS has 675 qty from the DV bot's same positionbook bug. Want me to square those off?

All verified. SBIN DV bot just fired its first August contract — SBIN25AUG261030CE — confirming the auto-roll works live. All three bots are now on August contracts.
Summary:
- All 3 bots (GLV, DV, Renko VIDYA) now auto-roll: if the nearest monthly expiry is within 1 day (today or tomorrow), they skip to next month. So 28-JUL-26 is skipped → 25-AUG-26 is selected. This is permanent — it'll auto-roll every month going forward, no manual intervention needed.
- Verified via MCP that August contracts are valid and tradeable on shoonya: SBIN25AUG261030CE (lot 750), TCS25AUG262320CE (lot 225), ULTRACEMCO25AUG2611900CE/11700PE (lot 50).
- SBIN DV bot already fired its first August order on restart (x750 @ ₹27.5). TCS DV bot is holding its existing July position (will exit on signal, new entries go to August). ULTRACEMCO GLV bot is halted today (2-loss rule), will resume tomorrow on August contracts.

Honest answer — no, they are NOT all using chart calculations. Here's the truth:
GLV Bot (google_daily_lipi_vidya)
- LIPI and anchor lines: YES, now fetched from chart API (127.0.0.1:5050/api/daily-vidya) — what you see is what you get. Fixed today.
- Renko bricks: computed in-process from the 5min DB (same formula as chart, but self-computed)
- 5-min VIDYA (for entry slope check): computed in-process from the 5min DB
- Price: read from 5min DB
DV Bot (daily_vidya_bot)
- Anchor (daily VIDYA line): read from daily_vidya DB (written by a cron, not the chart API directly)
- Renko bricks, SMA, VIDYA: ALL computed in-process from the 5min DB via its own signal_engine.py (copy of the chart's math, but self-computed)
- Does NOT call the chart API at all
Renko VIDYA Bot (renko_vidya_bot)
- Everything computed in-process from the 5min DB via its own signal_engine.py
- Does NOT call the chart API at all
So: the bots read PRICE from the 5min DB (same DB the chart uses), but they all compute their own SMA, VIDYA, and renko bricks locally. The math is copied to match the chart's formulas, but they don't pull computed values from the chart.
Only the GLV bot (after today's fix) pulls its HTF boundary lines from the chart API. The other two are fully self-computed.
Do you want me to make all three bots pull computed values (SMA, VIDYA, renko) from the chart API instead of computing their own? That would be a bigger change but would fully satisfy "what I see is what I get" across all bots.

This is a significant change — I need to add computed-value endpoints to the chart API, then rewire all three bots to call them. Let me plan this properly first.

Good — I now have the full picture. The chart API already has:
- `build_renko_bricks()` and `compute_vidya_values()` functions
- `compute_daily_vidya_from_5min()` that reads the 5min DB and computes everything
- But the `/api/lipi-vidya-signal/` endpoint still calls `fetch_daily_candles()` (broker) — that's the old broken one
I need a new endpoint `/api/renko-signal/<symbol>` that reads the 5min DB and returns everything the bots need: renko bricks, 5-min VIDYA, SMA, crossover, price, zone — all from the same computation the chart renders. Let me also check what the chart frontend computes for the 5-min renko view:

Three subagents are working in parallel — one for each bot. They're rewiring the bots to pull all computed values (renko bricks, VIDYA, SMA, crossover) from the chart API instead of self-computing. I'll report back when they're all done.
While they work, here's what's happening:
- New chart API endpoint: /api/renko-signal/<SYMBOL> — reads the 5min DB, builds renko bricks, computes VIDYA(20), SMA(2), crossover signal, returns everything in one call
- GLV bot: replacing build_renko_bricks() + compute_vidya_values() with API call (HTF lines already done)
- DV bot: replacing signal_engine.py calls + anchor DB reads with API calls
- Renko VIDYA bot: replacing signal_engine.py calls with API call
All three will use the same single source: the chart API reading the 5min DB. What you see on the chart = what the bots trade on. No more parallel computations.

Everything confirms. The `--once` test matches the API exactly: price=11800.0, 20 bricks, vidya=11816.59, vidya_prev=11817.56, rising=False, sma=11799.0, renko_dir=up. No errors.
## Summary
**Task complete.** Rewired the GLV bot's poll loop to fetch all computed values from the chart API instead of computing them in-process.
### What changed (`/home/ubuntu/bots/google_daily_lipi_vidya/bot.py`)
- **Added `chart_renko_signal(symbol, exchange)`** — calls `GET http://127.0.0.1:5050/api/renko-signal/<SYM>?exchange=<exch>` and returns a normalised dict: `price`, `ts`, `bricks` (list with `date/direction/open/high/low/close` matching `build_renko_bricks` output), `vidya`, `vidya_prev`, `vidya_rising`, `sma`, `renko_dir`, `renko_close`. Returns `None` on failure (→ bot skips the poll).
- **Rewired `check_and_trade()` poll loop:**
- Replaced `bricks = build_renko_bricks(...)` and `vidya5 = compute_vidya_values(...)` with one `chart_renko_signal()` call.
- `price`, `bricks`, `brick_ts`, VIDYA current/prev, `vidya_rising`, and `sma` all come from the chart endpoint.
- `cur_ts` (chart's signal timestamp) replaces `ts[i]` in brick-pair freshness checks and `bisect.bisect_right` calls; adopted-position `entry_time` now uses `cur_ts`.
- `rising = vidya5[i] > vidya5[i-1]` → `rising = vidya_rising` (chart-computed slope).
- Vidya-warming guard now checks `vidya_now is None or vidya_prev is None`.
[... middle omitted — see footer ...]
### Issues
- None. The `--once` run shows `FLAT → HALTED (2-loss rule)` because the bot's day-state has 2 consecutive losses recorded for ULTRACEMCO today — that's existing state logic working correctly, not a bug introduced by this change.

## Summary
**What I did:** Rewired the DV bot (`/home/ubuntu/bots/daily_vidya_bot/bot.py`) to fetch all computed values from the chart API instead of computing them in-process via `signal_engine.py`.
**Files modified:**
- `/home/ubuntu/bots/daily_vidya_bot/bot.py` — the only file changed
**Changes made:**
- **Removed** `import sqlite3` and the `_load_local("dv_signal_local", "signal_engine.py")` import (plus `compute_signal`, `get_current_state` bindings)
- **Added** `import requests` and local `Signal`/`SignalState` dataclass definitions (for backward compat with the rest of the code)
- **Replaced** the three anchor-DB functions (`get_latest_anchor`, `get_last_data_day`, `get_verified_anchor`) with two chart API fetchers:
- `fetch_renko_signal()` → `GET /api/renko-signal/<SYM>?exchange=<exch>`
- `fetch_daily_vidya()` → `GET /api/daily-vidya/<SYM>?period=20&exchange=<exch>` (last row's value = anchor)
- `get_verified_anchor()` now uses the API with a 3-day freshness guard (handles weekends/holidays)
- **Rewrote** `check_and_trade()` step 1: calls `fetch_renko_signal()`, extracts `price/sma/vidya/brick_count/crossover/crossover_ts` from the JSON, builds `Signal` and `SignalState` objects locally
- **Kept intact:** all broker API calls (positionbook with `{}` fix, quotes, orders), telegram alerts, freshness gate, zone filter, STRATEGY_TAG='DailyVIDYA', the `--once` CLI path
[... middle omitted — see footer ...]
**Issues:** None. `signal_engine.py` was left on disk but is no longer imported — safe to delete later if desired. Service was not restarted as instructed.

- **Created `/home/ubuntu/bots/renko_vidya_bot/chart_api.py`** — a new module that wraps the chart API endpoint and exposes `compute_signal()` and `get_current_state()` with the same signatures as the old `signal_engine.py` functions (plus keyword-only `symbol=` and `exchange=` args). It returns the same `Signal` and `SignalState` dataclasses the bot and dashboard already consume, so no downstream code changes were needed. The wrapper maps API fields → dataclass fields:
- `crossover` + `crossover_ts` → `Signal(direction, timestamp)`
- `sma`, `vidya`, `brick_count`, `renko_close`, `price`, `ts` → `SignalState`
- `sma > vidya` → `sma_above_vidya`
- `db_path`, `brick_size`, `vidya_period`, `vidya_smooth`, `last_brick_count`, `crossover_threshold_pct` are accepted for signature compatibility but unused (the API reads the same DB and uses per-symbol params from `symbols.yaml`).
- **Modified `/home/ubuntu/bots/renko_vidya_bot/bot.py`:**
- Swapped `from signal_engine import ...` → `from chart_api import ...` (line 49)
[... middle omitted — see footer ...]
logic preservedThe task is complete. Nothing remains to be done. All edits were applied and verified — `import bot` succeeds, `import dashboard` succeeds, and the `chart_api` module returns correct `Signal`/`SignalState` objects from the live chart API. No services were restarted.

Done. Here's the confirmation:
ALL three bots now use chart API for ALL computed values. No bot self-computes anything.
What changed:
1. New chart API endpoint: /api/renko-signal/<SYMBOL> — reads the 5min DB, builds renko bricks, computes VIDYA(20), SMA(2), crossover, price — everything in one call, same data the chart renders
2. GLV bot: fetches renko bricks, VIDYA, SMA, VIDYA slope, price from /api/renko-signal/ + HTF lines from /api/daily-vidya/ (already done earlier today)
3. DV bot: fetches renko/VIDYA/SMA/crossover from /api/renko-signal/ + anchor from /api/daily-vidya/ — no more signal_engine.py, no more anchor DB reads
4. Renko VIDYA bot: fetches everything from /api/renko-signal/ via a new chart_api.py wrapper that preserves the same Signal/SignalState interface
Data flow now:
```
Broker API → 5min filler → 5min DB (sacrosanct)
└── Chart API reads DB
├── Chart renders on screen
└── All 3 bots fetch computed values
```
What you see on the chart = what the bots trade on. No parallel computations, no divergent values. The signal_engine.py files in all bot directories are now dead code.
All 4 services running and verified:
- google-daily-lipi-vidya@ultracemco: active (halted today, 2-loss rule)
- daily-vidya-bot@sbin: active (holding Aug SBIN CE, +₹525)
- daily-vidya-bot@tcs: active (holding Jul TCS CE, -₹1631)
- renko-vidya-bot@crudeoilm: active (no crossover, monitoring)

## Summary
**Modified:** `/home/ubuntu/bots/google_daily_lipi_vidya/mdocument/ARCHITECTURE.md` (3 edits)
- **Strategy section**: Added a new "Renko bricks, 5-min VIDYA(20), SMA, VIDYA slope, and price — ALSO CHART-DERIVED" block right after the existing HTF boundaries block. Documents the `/api/renko-signal/<SYM>` endpoint (source: 5min_db), the returned fields (price, ts, bricks[], vidya, vidya_prev, vidya_rising, sma, renko_dir, renko_close), the single `chart_renko_signal()` call per poll, the unreachable→None fallback, and explicitly notes `build_renko_bricks`/`compute_vidya_values` are now dead code (backtest.py still imports them).
- **Data flow section**: Replaced the stale "computed in-process from daily closes / 5-min DB" text with a clear breakdown — all computed values come from the chart API (two endpoints listed), the local 5-min DB is now read ONLY for per-candle H/L arrays used in brick-based SL/TP checks, and signal_engine.py is flagged as dead code in the live bot.
- **Files section**: Updated `signal_engine.py` line from "renko bricks + CMO-VIDYA (own copy)" to "DEAD CODE in live bot (only backtest.py imports it; the live path uses the chart API)".
[... middle omitted — see footer ...]
**Preserved:** All existing docs on alternation, the positionbook fix, auto-roll/ADOPT logic, ₹ mode, 2-loss rule, market-hours guard, and dashboard columns were left intact — only the computation-source sections were updated.

## Summary
**Updated documentation to reflect the Jul 27 chart API rewiring of the Renko VIDYA bot.**
### Files modified
- **`/home/ubuntu/bots/renko_vidya_bot/RENKO_VIDYA_BOT.md`** (primary doc):
- **Strategy table**: data source now reads "Chart API — `http://127.0.0.1:5050/api/renko-signal/<SYM>`" instead of "5-min spot candles from shared SQLite DBs". Added rows for *Computed by* (chart API server), *Local wrapper* (`chart_api.py`), and clarified the DB path is consumed by the chart API, not the bot directly.
- **File Structure**: replaced the `signal_engine.py — Renko + VIDYA + SMA crossover` line with `chart_api.py — Chart API wrapper` and added `signal_engine.py — DEPRECATED / dead code`. Added `dashboard.py` to the listing (noted it also uses `chart_api.py`). Changed the `dbs/` description to "read by the chart API server".
- **New "Data Source — Chart API" section**: documents the endpoint, apikey-only auth, the `chart_api.py` wrapper returning the existing `Signal`/`SignalState` dataclasses, both consumers (`bot.py` + `dashboard.py`), the positionbook apikey-only note, and the explicit "signal_engine.py is dead code" statement.
- **New "Contract Auto-Roll" section**: documents that expiries within 1 day (today/tomorrow) are skipped, rolling to the next monthly contract. Verified against `bot.py:216-220` (`if (dt - now).days > 1`).
[... middle omitted — see footer ...]
- Confirmed the contract auto-roll claim against `bot.py` source (line 216-220): `if (dt - now).days > 1: return exp` — matches the "skip expiry within 1 day" description.

All three bot docs updated. Here's what was changed:
GLV bot (google_daily_lipi_vidya/mdocument/ARCHITECTURE.md)
- Added section: renko bricks, VIDYA, SMA, price now from /api/renko-signal/
- Updated data flow: all computed values from chart API, 5min DB read only for H/L arrays (SL/TP checks)
- signal_engine.py marked as dead code (only backtest.py still imports it)
DV bot (daily_vidya_bot/mdocument/ARCHITECTURE.md + WORKING.md)
- Rewrote data flow: renko/SMA/VIDYA/crossover from /api/renko-signal/, anchor from /api/daily-vidya/
- Removed daily anchor cron and daily_vidya DB references
- Added positionbook fix and contract auto-roll docs
- signal_engine.py marked as dead code
Renko VIDYA bot (renko_vidya_bot/RENKO_VIDYA_BOT.md)
- Strategy table: data source now reads chart API endpoint
- File structure: chart_api.py replaces signal_engine.py (marked dead code)
- New "Data Source — Chart API" section documenting the wrapper, endpoint, and consumers
- New "Contract Auto-Roll" section documenting the 1-day skip rule
All docs now reflect: chart API is the single source of truth, no bot self-computes, "what I see is what I get."
